The New Jersey Council for American Private Education (NJCAPE) represents the needs, values, and educational priorities of more than 900 nonpublic schools and approximately 160,000 students across New Jersey.

NJCAPE brings together leaders from Independent, Catholic, Jewish, Islamic, Christian, and other nonpublic school communities to advocate for policies and programs that support educational excellence, parental choice, school safety, student services, and equitable access to resources for New Jersey families.

Through statewide collaboration and advocacy, NJCAPE works directly with school leaders, association executives, policymakers, and educational stakeholders on issues impacting the nonpublic school community throughout the state.
